**This listing is only for the large center stones used on ruby slipper bows. You are not purchasing a set of completed bows or shoes.**
You are purchasing garnet colored Art Deco cut center stones. These are a vintage reproduction of a rhinestone style that was popular in the 1920's and 1930's. They look dusty in the photo as the manufacturer sends them in what is essentially a paper towel. They measure 12x8mm and are a much deeper red than the Light Siam vintage stones I offer in my shop. These have plain backs, so there is no foil or electroplating on the stone.
You will need a very thin beading needle to sew these down, as the holes on these were made smaller per my request. I've been using a size 13 beading needle to sew these stones down and it has worked perfectly. Do not try to use a regular needle to sew these, as the eye of the needle could chip or crack the stone when you try to pass it through the hole. These are fragile as they are made of glass that is only 3mm thick.
Quantity: approximately 100 rhinestones.
